About New Harbert Candles

Each New Harbert Candle is entirely hand made in small batches of 3-5 candles at a time.

We use only natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and unique blends of pthlalate-free fragrance. By using high quality materials and the perfect ratios, the candles are guaranteed to melt fully to the edge making them last much longer than a standard candle. Also, each candle carries more fragrance than a standard candle to make it scent the entire room.

Finally, the candles are named for the cherished Memphis  streets and avenues that hold precious memories in the 901.

I'm the sole owner, operator, and maker of New Harbert Candles. I'm a born-and-raised Memphian who's loved watching the authentic revival of my gritty city. I have a passion for creating unique, clean, and affordable scents that are long-lasting.

Ultimately, New Harbert Candles was created as a way to honor Memphis. The ginkgo logo represents love, longevity, and my favorite Memphis neighborhood - Cooper-Young. Thank you, in the most sincere way, for supporting this small but cherished business.
